The Harbor collection comes in two finishes that sit comfortably in almost any room — a clean White and a warm Mocha. Every unit can be set on the floor or hung off the wall, which is the decision that changes how a closet feels more than any other. Wall-hung reads lighter and leaves the floor open to vacuum; floor-mounted carries more weight and suits a deep walk-in.

We argue against flat-pack kitchens. We recommend it for closets. Here is why that is not a contradiction.

If you have read anything else we have written, you know where we stand on ready-to-assemble kitchen cabinets: we will not sell them. A kitchen run carries a stone countertop. It has to stay square so full-extension slides and heavy pull-outs keep tracking. It takes twenty-five years of daily abuse in the busiest room in the house. That is a structural job, and flat-pack construction is not built for it.

A closet stores clothes. It is not carrying stone. It is not in the heart of the home. Nothing about it has to survive what a kitchen survives. Judging a closet by kitchen-cabinet standards is not a higher standard — it is the wrong standard, and it is how people get talked into spending money that buys them nothing.

So the honest advice, which costs us the bigger sale: if you are looking to save money, a fully custom closet is the wrong place to spend it. Put that money in the kitchen, where construction genuinely decides whether the thing lasts. Do the closet this way instead.

And the comparison that actually matters is not custom-built versus this. It is this versus wire shelves and a rod — which is what most closets have. You get the fitted, built-in look for a fraction of custom, in a room where the fraction is all you needed.
