Trade Account Terms

The terms every Rose Hill trade account agrees to — written in plain language, because contractors have better things to do than decode fine print. Questions about any of it? Ask us — a real person answers.

1. Eligibility & Verification

Trade accounts are available to businesses with a valid EIN — contractors, remodelers, kitchen & bath pros, designers, builders, flippers, and property managers. Every application is verified before approval, and trade pricing begins only upon written approval from Rose Hill Cabinets / Emerald Fern Finishes. We verify because it protects you: verified accounts are how trade pricing stays trade-only.

2. Confidential Pricing

Your trade price book, multiplier, and spec book are confidential business information. By holding a trade account, you agree not to publish, share, screenshot, or redistribute trade pricing — including to clients, on social media, or with other businesses. Client-facing quotes should show your numbers, not ours; our quote formats are designed to protect your margin the same way. Accounts that leak trade pricing may be suspended or closed.

3. Ordering & Payment

  • Trade orders are prepaid. This is not a credit account — we say that upfront because surprises kill trust.
  • Minimum trade order: $2,500.
  • Orders are confirmed in writing. Nothing goes to production until you approve your final cabinet list in writing — measurements, finishes, quantities, everything.
  • Prices exclude applicable taxes. Tax-exempt accounts must provide a valid resale certificate before tax-exempt processing.

4. Delivery

Cabinet delivery follows our current published shipping policy — free within 150 miles of our five distribution hubs (Chicago, St. Louis, Columbus, Charlotte, Washington DC), with honestly-quoted freight beyond hub zones. 5. Damage & Shortage Claims

Inspect deliveries on receipt. Report damage or shortages in writing with photos within 72 hours of delivery or pickup to info@emeraldfernfinishes.com. Documented claims are replaced or credited at our cost — we eat the freight risk; that's our job as your supplier.

6. Returns

  • Assembled cabinetry is built to order and is largely final sale.
  • Eligible stock returns require written approval (RMA) before shipping anything back; unapproved returns may be refused.
  • Approved stock returns: 10% restocking fee; return freight paid by the account.
  • Custom sizes, custom finishes, and made-to-order configurations are non-returnable once production begins — which is exactly why we confirm every order in writing first.
  • Items damaged in shipping are replaced at our cost, always (see Section 5).

7. Pro Sample Kit

The Pro Sample Kit is available to approved accounts, and its full cost is credited on your first kitchen order. One kit credit per account.

8. Account Standing

We reserve the right to suspend or close trade accounts for violation of these terms — including confidentiality breaches, payment disputes made in bad faith, or misrepresentation on the application. We've never wanted to use this section, and we'd like to keep it that way.

9. Updates to These Terms

We may update these terms as the program grows; the current version always lives at this page, with the date below. Continued ordering after an update constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced to active accounts by email.

The short version: verified accounts, prepaid orders, confidential pricing, written approval before production, 72-hour damage claims, and a real human when anything goes sideways. That's the whole deal.
